MSE Students Jamie Curtis and Nicole Kennard are Finalist in Ford Community Challenge

MSE students Jamie Curtis and Nicole Kennard, as part of Georgia Tech's Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), have progressed as finalist in the Ford Community Challenge. Their proposal for the "Building Sustainable Communities" challenge is to design and build a hydroponic, aquaponic, and aeroponic systems greenhouse on campus to produce an eco-friendly system to provide low cost produce to community families. Winners of the $25,000 prize will be announced in September. Other members of ESW includes Bianca Costa (ECE), Galen Gambino (ECE), James Li (AE), Jaeiza Smith (ECE), and Jeffrey Teng (EE).
