MSE Team Presenting at Create-X Idea To Prototype

Cocoon Technologies, consisting of MSE students Zach Robbins, Andrew Sisung, and Kelsey Novak, and BME student Christian Croxton, will be presenting at Create-X Idea To Prototype December 1 in Klaus Commons. Working with faculty advisors Mary Lynn Realff and Paul Russo, the team is developing an innovative football cleat aimed at injury prevention through an advanced lacing system that provides stability and control to the ankle as well as the foot. 

Create- X Idea To Prototype is an undergraduate research experience where students build real prototypes based on their ideas. Students can receive up to 6 hours of academic credit and a grant of up to $1,500 for needed materials and equipment.

The Idea To Prototype presentation is open to the public, and will be held December 1 from 5:00 to 7:00 in Klaus Commons.
