Every year, Georgia Tech names their annual “Forty under Forty” alumni. We are thrilled to announce that this year Adam Jakus, MSE 09, MS MSE 10, was included in this prestigious list.

Since graduating from Georgia Tech, Jakus has gone on to do great things in the field, notably serving as the founding CEO of the biotechnology and biofabrication consulting organization, BioThera3 Advising & Consulting. BioThera3 Advising & Consulting aids startups as well as mid to large-sized biotech and pharma organizations, drawing on technical and strategic experience navigating the complex web of stakeholders that exists in biotech and pharma companies which see the convergence of manufacturing, complex scientific progress, private equity, and governmental industries. Jakus is also the founder and former CEO of Dimension Inx Corp, a company focused on advanced biomaterials and therapeutics.

When he’s not founding companies, Jakus is an inventor and author. With a dozen patents to his name and several publications including book chapters and communications on 3D printing and tissue engineering, Jakus is clearly successful in his endeavors.

When asked, he said that his favorite memory from his time at Tech was hearing “he’s a wizard!” as he performed a liquid CO2 levitating magnet demo for kids outside the student center. Having received both his bachelor’s and master’s with MSE, we are proud to see what our alumnus has done. Join us in congratulating Adam Jakus on being named one of Georgia Tech’s 2024 “Forty under Forty.”
